The Time Has Come...
Inner Peace and Positivity as we set sail into this Pivotal New Year!
The time has come, in my life, to look much further in advance than ever before. Once a woman so greatly fulfilled by the mysterious pleasures concealed within each surprising moment, I felt it limiting and undesirable to plan for the days that followed in advance. Ultimate freedom and the true maximization of ones 20’s, to me, was being open to the will of the wind. As a result, my life thus far has planted me in and out (thankfully) of some tremendously educational adventures.
However, recently a combination of multiple factors has encouraged me to question the longevity, cause, effect and true reasoning behind my “will of the wind” life philosophy. Turning 26, living partially and/or fully abroad for the last 7 years, entering my first and hopefully last true-love relationship, and the timing of the changing year are a few. I’m growing up, and I look SO forward to living a comfortable & adventurous life.
This being said, the following posts of this blog will narrate the actualization process of me becoming my successful self. I will share my inner desires, dreams, and ambitions with the hope that you, as a connected reader, will support, encourage and most importantly uncover personal motivation as you actively observe the dedication I have to this process.
Perhaps, you’re still wondering why it is that I am publicizing my “success journey” in the form of a blog? Well, I have 2 reasons in mind. Personally, I’ve chosen to use this form of mass awareness as an instrument to foster accountability and added pressure. If you’re reading this, you most likely care for me on some level and are interested in my life and personal developments. Nothing in my life is more important than this process, so please support me with your personal experiences, knowledge and advice as it relates to this journey.
Secondly, I want the numerous friends and loved ones reading this to rejuvenate their passion for the challenges of life, in the same way that I have. In order for my process to remain successful, I find myself needing to learn a great deal about myself and the things that I value. As a result, I would find no greater pleasure than to share what I am learning with you. In addition, I want to open up a stage for everyone reading to provide and discuss awesome resources and ideas that are beneficial for realizing success. I'm well aware and very proud that many of you are well on your way to achieving your definition of happiness. That’s a large part of why we are friends! You encourage me and motivate me with your attractive ambition! Let’s work and live ambitiously out loud!
Cheers to 2010! Thanks for your involvement!

ReplyDeleteI have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life, as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.

ReplyDeleteThe seasons have changed from the whirlwind that seemed so out of control to the place where we take responsibility for how we respond to the next storm and how grateful we are for the sunshine.
