Sow a thought, and you reap an act;
Sow an act, and you reap a habit;
Sow a habit, and you reap a character;
Sow a character, and you reap a destiny.

Do you write your goals down?
If not, why? Is it because you look at it the same way you do flossing? Something you know, and have been told repeatedly, is a great way to stay healthy and yet the actual act of doing it just somehow never gets done.
No? You actually do floss on a regular basis. Wow, you are extraordinary! Well, me and most other Americans, 73% actually, would rather go grocery shopping. So, I guess you also write and update your goals than too?! Go get um, Tiger!
But as I mentioned, “The Time Has Come!” So here are my life goals:
* Achieve ULTIMATE physical health and mental well-being
* ASAP, Earn a Master’s Degree at the School for International Training (SIT) in Vermont
* Become proficient in more than 5 languages (English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, soon to be French and ??)
* Live & work abroad in the Travel, Education, and Aid sectors
* Become a successful leader in my profession & mildly famous as a result of it too
* In my 50s, Create & own a Wellness B&B
* In my 40s, Open a café- Language Lounge, Hemp & Health, Smoothies & Sandwiches
* In my 30s, Create or runs a successful tour/travel company and become the host of a Travel show!
* ASAP- Become a published Children’s author
* By 40 year-old, Own more than one home and/or plot of land
* Become a Life-long lover & Adventure-partner to a man that will build our dream home!
* Become a Marvelous Mother of Vegetarian kids!
* Become debt free by 40, AT THE LATEST!
* Within 10 years, Be in a position to financially provide for my parents stress-free retirement
* Practice Yoga regularly at a high intensity level
* Read thousands of books (that will teach me how to do all this:)
AND FINALLY...for now,
* Own my own drum set that I ROCK-ON, like Sheila e., as member of some Bossy Band!
Do these sound like simple goals? Shhhhhiiiiittttt! It was no easy nor rapid task to develop these honest objectives- ones that you have every intention of following through to their achievement! Man, moving from the belief that the sky was the limit, as is my capability, to a concrete product of thought was good for me. As the ball began to roll, I moved forward with greater ambition. I began general, by listing “life goals,” and then making 10, 5 & 1 year goals and painstakingly narrowed my scope to work out a schedule of active steps that I've committed to taking on daily basis.
Do you know this process and these feelings? Do we have some of the same or similar goals? If so, lets talk. What we can do to encourage, support and motivate the other as we fulfill them?
Thanks for your encouraging comments on my first post and your continued attention and support now. Honestly
By the way, I haven’t flossed yet, but at least I have a list established that I can add it to!
